Miss Ayn: Annie’s View

New Year Views!

.

.

Hello everyone,
Happy New Year to each and every single one of you that have read and answered my View and the questions that I have asked through the year. Your thoughts, ideas, and especially the answers to my question each week have been great and I have so much fun reading them.

I look forward to 2008 (my tenth year of writing Annie’s View well, almost eleventh) and I hope you enjoy my Views this year as much as you did last year.

I’m starting off with the Question of the Week this week which is: IN 2008 WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE HAPPEN IN THE WORLD OF WRESTLING?

This can be anything at all that can actually happen. So please send me your Views on this topic.

One more thing, I upgraded today and lost a bunch of stuff I had waiting to be sent. That didn’t bother me except that a few of your Views were lost and that bugs me. So, in the coming weeks if you don’t see something you wrote me in a View, please contact me and write it again.

So let’s start with the end of the year.

One of the best if not the best thing Vince has been doing are the shows in Iraq. They totally rock, they have the best matches and Vince is always beaten up by Santa so I get my Christmas wish. This show makes you proud to be a wrestling fan along with an American. Now if Vince could pull this off every week that in itself would be awesome.

Let’s see what else happened. Okay these are some of the things that stuck out in my mind.

One of the Best wrestlers ever killed his entire family and then himself. The ONLY thing that I think saves Benoit’s career is the fact that an ex wrestler begged to have Benoit’s brain examined and sure enough they found a lot of brain damage.

The only other good thing that came from this sad event was the fact that wrestling was/is being looked into by congress. However, they are FINALLY looking into the other sports to and because they did that, steroids in wrestling took a backseat thanks to the likes of Barry Bonds and all the other baseball players who should be hanging their heads in shame. It’s rare I agree with congress but this time, I did because they didn’t stop with wrestling and wrestling gets a bad rap because of it.

John Cena takes his first big hit and needed surgery. He’s still out but managed to show up in Iraq which I thought was really great.

Christ Jericho came back and has made RAW even better than his first visit to RAW I think.

Lawler gets in a couple brawls and Vince dropped the brawl on this one (Okay maybe you thought that was bad but it’s the last one of the year or, the first one depending) In any case, I love it when Lawler fights/wrestles. He’s better than Flair in my View so I think Jerry should be the one to end Flair’s career.

Vince voted himself the best WWE star for the past fifteen years. In other words, he’s still lying.

Kurt Angle leaves RAW for a different brand and frankly, I didn’t see it coming.

Jeff Hardy returned and still has the crowd going.

Rey Mysterio is still one of the best wrestlers today.

Undertaker is the BEST right now I think but is his time ending?

Vince has a new Son. I think he looks just like him. Hey, at least he’s Irish.

DX came back for a short time. It was hilarious and I don’t even like HBK.

We lost the Fabulous Moolah. Such a talented wrestler and as a woman, my View is that she pioneered and made it seem like an art form to be a lady wrestler.

Randy Orton the Legend Killer? Okay, I’ll give him that. Randy Orton a legend? Hmmm, time will tell considering he seems to generally be a snot.

Edge and Vicki? Okay that’s just gross.

All in all, not much stands out in wrestling this year at all. That could be a good thing or a bad thing.

Did I leave something out that you liked? Hated? Or just thought was odd? Please write me and let me know.
Again, I wish all of you a Wonderful New Year.

Until next time be good or be like me, good doing it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!!!!!
