R. Dubriel — My Opinion
Entertainment Thoughts
I have a problem with all the entertainment companies. There are too many pay per views on television. I understand that these companies are trying to make money so they can pay the inflated salaries. In my area where I live the WWE PPVs are probably going to cost about 45 dollars. That is too much money in my opinion.
I had a friend who had a son who was a huge wrestling fan. She ordered all the pay per views for her son and worked a minimum wage job. She worked all the overtime she could get. I asked her if she was getting any help from her son or family and she said no. Her husband was in and out of jail. I really did feel sorry for the lady.
When I was growing up pay per views were every 6 months. They seem to rush these things on tv and it seems to be sloppy. The feuds lasted about a year instead of every two weeks. The talent is not that good as it used to be.
I just wish they would go back to the good old days, when it was easier to afford to be a fan, and the PPVs seemed to be more worth what you paid for them.
