The Cauliflower Alley Club reported that Judy Grable passed away
May 8. She was a pioneer and true legend of women’s wrestling.

“The CAC was informed today that Nellya Burres-Baughman, who wrestled
as Judy Grable, died at approximately 2:40 this morning. Grable began
her career in 1938 and was a top wrestler on the women’s wrestling
scene for many years. It was in a tournament in 1956 that, it is
claimed, where Fabulous Moolah defeated Judy Grable to win the Women’s
Title that Moolah would go on to hold for many years.

We have no more details at this time.

The CAC sends our condolences to the family and friends of Judy Grable.”
