WRESTLEROCK CHAMPIONSHIP
Jag ‘Hartley Jackson’ (c) vs. Slex

WrestleRock’s 2nd Birthday Bash saw the South Australian monster Jag lay claim to the WrestleRock Championship, forever changing the company and leaving his mark on what was supposed to be a night of celebration which ended in a night of chaos.

The show saw Chris Knight surrender the WrestleRock Championship due to an injury he sustained in his match against Jag at WrestleRock X.

With Chris Knight not able to compete Jag demanded the championship belt, but the announcement was made by the chairman of the Championship Committee that the last 2 men standing in the Dirty Dozen Battle Royal would face each other for the vacant title and that Jag would compete with everyone else added into the Battle Royal as entrant No 13.

When the mayhem of the Battle Royal was over it was Mad Dog and Jag who were both left standing, and then competed for the vacant championship title. Later in the match a table was setup in the ring by Mad Dog but Jag took the advantage nailing his jagged-edge off the top rope to get the pinfall and become new champion. But the chaos had only just begun when he demanded Julian James raise his hand and in a shocking display of violence Jag turned and power-bombed Julian straight through the table.

Julian was stretchered out of the show while the new Champion had made a statement as WrestleRock returns to the HiFi Bar with a brand new champion who is out of control.

In arguably one of the biggest yet barbaric matches in WrestleRock history Slex and Lazer settled old scores in a hellacious 2/3 falls match at the 2nd Birthday Bash. The match saw the falls count anywhere stipulation come into affect in the 3rd fall and then spilled outside into the crowd and even the merchandise stand.

With ladders, tables, chairs and even a guitar used as a weapon it will be remembered for a long time to come as both men barely walked out of the Corner Hotel in one piece.

On Friday 25th July the battle is set at the HiFi Bar in the heart of the city as the newly crowned champion defends his title for the very first time against a man who has the weight of the whole company on his shoulders.

It is set to be a spectacular showdown with WrestleRock fans having only seen a small glimpse of what these 2 athletes are capable of doing.

With the stakes now raised both men will give it all they have to walk away with the gold.

Don’t miss this epic showdown in the city as WrestleRock brings you the very best in a night that is shaping up to be the biggest in WrestleRock history!
