Force One “No Retreat” Results - New Champion Crowned!!

203 fans showed up at Spontaneous Sports in Egg Harbor Township, despite tornado warnings in the area to see Force One Pro Wrestling present “No Retreat.”

In the opening contest, Danny “Inferno” Gimondo defeated The Repeat Offenders (Pete Nixon & Crazy Ivan), and “The Midnight Idol” Nicky Benz in a Wild Card 4 Way, that qualified Gimondo to compete in the Battle Royal later in the evening.

In a showcase of high spots, “The Hybrid” Josh Adams (w/Jimmy Clydesdale) and Kevin Cunningham (without the services of Kalista) ended in a no-contest, when an unidentified wrestler hit the ring, and began a beatdown on Adams. That wrestler unmasked, and it was determined that Johnny Calzone has made his debut in Force One.

The very popular Panther defeated Millionaire Ted Jr’s wild man Big Bear Borselli, but showed the signs of being involved in a war, as Bear took the latin star to the limit with his power moves.

Patch was then introduced to the crowd as the challenger for the Force One Iron League Championship, and Millionaire Ted Jr. immediately hit the ring to make Patch an offer to join his Million Dollar Stable, now that he “rid himself of The Rockin Rebel”. Patch accepted Ted’s offer, and champion Breaker Morant was introduced. The stipulations for the match, per Commissioner Tommy Cairo, were No DQ/Weapons?First Blood. After an all out brawl between the two, Patch used the Iron League title (supplied by Millionaire Ted) to open up Morant, win the Iron League Title, and also qualify himself as a current champion who could enter the Battle Royal for the Heavyweight Championship to take place later in the night.

Light Heavyweight challenger Ryu Lee took current champ RV1 (along with his manager Ted Jr) to the limit, but after Lee hit a Frog Splash and lay in the ring writhing in pain, Ted rolled his wrestler out of the ring for a count-out loss to Lee, but the belt did not change hands. Commissioner Tommy Cairo promised Lee a rematch for the title at the next show.

Millionaire Ted’s “man servant” Jason Gotti (the unluckiest guy in Force One) was accidently hit in the face with powder by his manager, and as a result lost his match with Chiki Cortes (accompanied by the Mammoth Angel).

In the main event, a battle royal was held to determine the new Force One Heavyweight Champion, after Danny Doring was stripped of the title at the last show. Here is the order of entry, and elimination:
1. Diego DeMarco (former Light Heavyweight Champion)
2. RV1 (current Light Heavyweight Champion)
3. Patch (current Iron League Champion)
4. White Lotus (former Light Heavyweight Champion)
RV1 was eliminated.
5. Danny Gimondo (Wild Card Match winner)
6. Judas Young (former Light Heavyweight Champ)
7. Breaker Morant was announced as unable to compete here due to the injury
sustained in his previous match. (Former Iron League title holder)
8. Former Heavyweight Champion Danny Doring had a surprise substitute entry
in the Battle Royal, none other than his “personal referee” Spanky 123, who
didn’t look very happy with that decision. He entered the ring, and lasted only
several seconds, saw all the competitors looking to get a piece of him, and
bailed out of the ring.
9. Breaker Morant, bloody, and wrapped in bandages, made his way down to
the ring, and entered the Battle Royal.
Diego DeMarco was eliminated.
Breaker Morant was eliminated.
Judas Young was eliminated.

Danny Gimondo bailed out of the ring, to return with a chair that he intended to use on his opponents, but Commisioner Tommy Cairo (Singapore Cane in hand) confronted Gimondo on the apron of the ring, who went to attack Cairo with the chair. Cairo ducked and pulled the rope down, causing Gimondo to eliminate himself. Again, on the floor, Gimondo went to hit Cairo with the chair, but was hit from behind by Judas Young, who seems intent on taking Gimondo out of Force One. They both brawled back to the locker, leaving only White Lotus & Patch in the ring. Ultimately, Lotus threw Patch over the top rope to seal the victory, and become the new Force One Heavyweight Champion! A celebration took place in the ring afterward, as many of the guys came out for a champagne toast to support White Lotus in his victory.

Force One’s next show will be January 24th at the Roll Way Skating Rink in Hammonton, NJ. Matches for this show will be announced shortly.
