November 24th, 2008The calendar year of 2008 has been a tumultuous one for The Order of the Neo Solar Temple. We were infiltrated by a deceptive fraud; torn apart from the inside. And betrayed by those we called our own. Young Timothy Donst, acting under the directives of evil forces hell-bent on destroying our family, misrepresented himself to not only myself, but to every deity who vigilantly watches over The Order. Hydra, the very man-monster I broke bread with every dusk and watched the sunrise with every dawn, made the foolish decision to drive a dagger through the hearts of his brethren and sistren in The Order. For shame.

Tim Donst - at the grappling contest known as Cibernetico, Crossbones and I eliminated you in swift fashion. We made it clear that you stand no chance of success or happiness while sharing a ring with us. This, young Timothy, was only the beginning. We have not even begun to carry out the full extent of our bloodlust revenge on you.
Eliminated! By my own craftiness! Taste the sweet sting of defeat!
And you Hydra. You venomous wildebeest! Like the merchants expelled from the temple in ancient Jerusalem, you too have been banished from The Temple – forever. You no doubt regret your cowardly acts of betrayal, and yet you will never have the opportunity to offer a display of penance. You have sealed you fate in the tears of Gaia.
On the twelfth day of the twelfth calendar year in the twelfth lunar cycle – the day the people of the CHIKARA refer to as Friday, December 12th, 2008 – the Order of the Neo Solar Temple will avenge the injustices perpetrated by one Tim Donst and one Hydra Monster. For blatant desecration of a sacred vow, we will crush those two no-goodniks once and for all! Crossbones and UltraMantis Black will climb to the top of the pile of broken bodies and soulless remains, raise the flag of the baphomet, and claim final victory! The Order will never be destroyed again!

The Colony Goes To War With The Osirian Portal As CHIKARA Ends Year Six!
As you heard on last week’s edition of CHIKARA Podcast-A-Go-Go, Director of Fun Leonard F. Chikarason has suspended any defenses of Los Campeones de Parejas for the next 90 days, to allow Amasis to the opportunity to recover from the ankle injury he suffered in the wake of his elimination from this year’s Torneo Cibernetico bout. While this news has been hailed as a “ruling blessed with the wisdom of Thoth” by the Osirian camp, it leaves The Colony, with an astonishing 6 points in their back pockets to simmer and stew until they can finally cash in their title shot. And after hearing the ruling Chikarason delivered last Monday, The Ants went marching straight to his office, and demanded some kind of compromise.
What was hammered out in that session between the DoF and The Colony were the two matches you see above, a pair of singles bouts pairing off Soldier Ant against Ophidian and Fire Ant againt the Portal’s newest member, Escorpion Egipico, a man Amasis told us was “cut from the same granite stones used to build the The Great Pyramid”, and who has also taken on the role of protector of Ophidian and Amasis.
Will the newcomer earn his keep on Friday, December 12th when he’s presented with the chance to do some serious damage to the Ant that’s been a bonafide hot streak ever since winning Young Lions Cup VI? And can the “Venomnous and Vile” Ophidian do the same when gets another crack at Soldier Ant, who is looking for a little redemption after being eliminated from Torneo Cibernetico at the hands of the Ophidian Death Grip? Or will the “Year of the Ants” end on a wave of momentum as they set their sights even higher in 2009?
