Ric Flair Returns to Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling
Charlotte, N.C. – In 2009, for the first time in more than a decade, the greatest world champion in the history of professional wrestling will be returning to the place where it all started – Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling (MACW).
On Saturday, January 10, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair will be in Easley, S.C., for the first of several personal appearances scheduled for MACW, as he will be at Easley High School. Doors will open at 6 p.m. enabling fans to meet Flair prior to the 8 p.m. bell time.
Six matches are scheduled for the MACW show in Easley that will feature former WCW superstar Buff Bagwell, former world tag team champions Rickey Morton of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and “Beautiful” Bobby Easton of the Midnight Express, former NWA world junior heavyweight champion Rikki Nelson, and former ECW superstar Chris Hamrick among others.
Tickets for the Jan. 10 show are $20 ringside and $12 general admission. There is also a $75 super ticket available which includes front row seating, a meet-and-greet with Flair, an autographed 8×10 color photo of the “Nature Boy” and a Ric Flair tee shirt.
