Malia Hosaka Wins in her 1st USCW Women’s Title Defense

Another fantastic night of great,wrestling action occurred at the Baker County Fairgrounds in Macclenny,FL on Saturday night,August 8th as United States Championship Wrestling had their “Sunshine State Brawl” show.

In the semi main event,it was a match for the USCW Women’s Championship as the USCW Women’s Champion and female wrestling

against the challenger

This was Hosska’s 1st title defense of the USCW Women’s Championship since winning it by defeating Amber O’ Neal in a tournament final for the vacant USCW Women’s Championship belt at the USCW “Summerbash 2009″ show in Macclenny,FL back on July 4th (Independence Day).
The challenger Leva;whom as you can see is an extremely huge comic book buff;
such as it was in this case in this vivid illustration
being dressed as a female version of the famed,heralded Marvel Comics superhero
Captain America

was trained at the Team 3D Academy of Pro Wrestling in Kissimmee,FL
which by the way the owners,the operators and the coaches of this facility
are none other than
multi-time tag team champions Brother Devon and Brother Ray
“TEAM 3D”;
a.k.a. “THE DUDLEY BOYZ”.
Needless to say,this match had all the makings to be one hard fought,very highly competitive women’s championship match.

Leva had the advantage in the early going of this match-up…..

But when Malia Hosaka took over,she used her vast skills of ring savvy and experience of her near two decades being inside the squared circle…..

….not to mention on certain ocassions taking advantage of every situation when the opportunity presented itself which without question truly worked in Malia’s favor.

Showing great resiliency,Leva fought her way back using some basic wrestling skills as well as some martial arts action.

Leva attempted to finish off Malia Hosaka with a top rope flying body splash,
but the USCW Women’s Champion rolled out of the way.

That costly mistake by Leva proved to be her downfall as the experienced veteran grappler Malia Hosaka capitlaized on her challenger’s mistake as she turned out Leva’s lights fro good as she gave her a powerbomb which led to a 1-2-3 pinning combination.
