VOLUMES 25 & 26 DVD RELEASE UPDATE

The final edit is complete on SHIMMER Volume 25.
We’re just waiting on getting all of the artwork done, and then will be sending it off for replication.
Translation… we’re about three weeks away from its release.
As far as Volume 26 goes, we’ve made the decision to hold off on that until November. We laid down commentary for 23-25 when Portia was in Tampa a few months ago, but weren’t able to get 26 knocked out as well. I’d prefer to wait a few more weeks and have Portia on color, rather than do it solo just to have it out a few weeks sooner. In the long run, having an entertaining commentary track is more important than releasing it slightly earlier.
The plan is to go right into production on 26-28 immediately following the November 8th tapings, to release each of them one by one during the holiday season.

SHIMMER – WOMEN ATHLETES returns to live action on Sunday, November 8th, 2009 at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, just outside Chicago. Bell time is 2pm. Doors open at 1pm. This event will celebrate SHIMMER’s 4th Anniversary, as Volumes 27 & 28 of the SHIMMER DVD series will be filmed during the course of the event.
Front row seating to November 8th is already SOLD OUT. General admission seating is still available, at a cost of $20 plus $1 shipping per ticket. Over half of the available seating has already been sold, so act fast if you want to attend!
