Winnipeg– “The Most Hated Man in Reality TV History” has signed to become a member of WFX Wrestling. Jonny Fairplay, famous for being on the CBS Mega Hit Series SURVIVOR, where he placed 3rd place as a competitor on SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA, will debut for the company on March 5th. As chronicalled on Entertainment Programs such as TMZ, controversy always surrounds this infamous personality.
“I’m cutting Mike Davidson some slack with this signing, I was a little surprised and it obviously proves that my Vice President is definitely thinking outside of the box with WFX.” Commented Jeff Dyck, President and CEO of WFX.
Fairplay is no stranger to professional wrestling, having been a regular for Total Nonstop Action. During his tenure with TNA in 2004 and 2005, he feuded with AJ Styles.
Aside from his TNA experience and Suvivor notoriety, Jonny has been locked into a very real feud with fellow celebrity Danny Bonaduce.
Many questions surround exactly what Jonny Fairplay will do in WFX. Those questions will hopefully be answered when he debuts on March 5th.
“I don’t think Jonny Fairplay has ever met a person who LIKED him, so I’m damn near certain that he will be despised by the WFX Fanbase.” Suggested Mike Davidson.

News & Notes
For The Week Ending January 5, 2010
–WFX Vice President Mike Davidson and “The Mecca” Shane Madison watched the 1/4 TNA Impact special together, and it’s said Davidson was quite relieved that with all the debuts that happened, none of the “surprises” were wrestlers he was negotiating with for the WFX Launch.
–The March 5th event will be called “Chapter One”. Already confirmed to appear at the event are Tajiri, Kushida (Tajiri’s prized student who is also training with Border City Wrestling), Kip Sopp (formerly known as Billy Gunn in WWE), Ugene Dinsmore, former WWE Developmental wrestler Jon Cutler, Mentallo, Wavell Starr, Arik Cannon, AJ Sanchez, Danny Duggan, Dan Myers & Mattias Wylde (collectively known as 5 Star Affair). There will be many more added before March.
–WFX is said to be overwhelmed with the quality of Promotional Model portfolios that they’ve received. They will probably have two lines of merchandise, one for the models and the other for the wrestlers.
–WFX is very close to announcing a TV Program that will coincide with the March 5th event.
–Mike Davidson will be giving a state of affairs type of address in early February. It will be a video that will online and hype the WFX Product.
–Two male managers have been confirmed for March 5th. One is a very well known former wrestler. The other is a well known celebrity of sorts.
–WFX will be unveiling some merchandise that can be ordered online in the next couple of weeks. These include DVDs of “The World Card Cup of Wrestling” and a few others.
–WFX is looking for a female ring announcer for their events.
–WFX has put out feelers to Jimmy Snuka, for a very special weekend celebration to coincide with Wrestlemania. However, WFX has no interest in Dan Spivey or Outback Jack at this time.
