Nikki returns to the PGWA after an absence of several months to defend her belt, and Roxx is arguably at the top of her game. But also at her peak is challenger Tracy Taylor, which promises a titanic battle between the two in this Best of 3 Falls title match!

As popular as ever, Nikki is all smiles going into this match; after all, the woman who has beaten the likes of Pippa L’Vinn, Susan Green, Christie Ricci and many others during her title reign (and who, of course, is fast emerging as one of the sport’s top women in TNA) has every reason to be confident on this night. Tracy also smiles, but that’s because she knows she’s ready and willing to do whatever it takes to win this match. Fans who knew and cheered Taylor before are shocked and dismayed by her recent ‘heel turn’, and they can only wonder if, by repudiating the rules, the already-formidable Hawaiian might indeed now have the victorious edge.

The first fall finds the two women testing one another, primarily with armholds and headlocks (and some shenanigans with the referee, who seems to doubt the effectiveness of an armlock… until Nikki happily demonstrates one on him!). Suddenly, the action erupts and they two wrestlers keep taking one another down to the mat, until Roxx manages to snare an Argentine Back Rack on Taylor, painfully bending her spine until the harrowed Hawaiian can take it no longer and she submits. But Nikki, not quite done with her, subjects poor Tracy to an Airplane Spin for fun, leaving the brunette dizzy when she finally dumps her.

The second round opens with Tracy (after a fit of pique for having lost the first) offering her hand to Nikki to acknowledge the champ’s success in getting the first submission. Roxx is wary at first, but then decides to accept the handshake… and is rewarded with a kick to the abdomen for her trouble! The Islander then continues to put the boots to her opponent’s body, wearing the champ down for a Sleeper Hold that very nearly puts her out! Nikki manages to power out, but she is continually mauled by her challenger, with every attempt to rally back stymied by the ruthlessly focused Taylor. And despite valiant efforts to avoid multiple pinfall efforts, Nikki finally succumbs to Tracy’s crippling “Surfer Girl” Standing Indian Death Lock/Surfboard finisher, drawing a frantic tap-out from the embattled champion.

For the third and deciding fall, the smile is gone from Nikki’s face, and there’s murder in her eyes. Taking the fight hard and fast to Tracy, she gains control and takes her opponent `around the world’, slamming Taylor’s pretty face into each of the four turnbuckles. Roxx continues her dominance with some devastating forearms, a corner splash, and even some old-fashioned hair pulling. But while Nikki pushes the match towards a brawl, Tracy rallies and counters with some technical moves that confound the champ. Suddenly, one ring-shaking Legdrop later, Nikki Roxx finds her shoulders planted to the canvas, and Tracy Taylor has the PGWA belt wrapped around her hula-shaking hips!

This historic match changes everything in the PGWA, as one era ends, and a new one begins. And you can witness it all from start to finish!

SB #57 :: Josianne vs Kristiana – “Josianne Shows Her Power”

We realize we’re stretching the definition of “Southern” with this one, as French Canadian Josianne takes on Italian Kristiana on the West Coast…but the match does take place in SouthernCalifornia!

Blond Josianne gives up nearly half-a-foot and some ten pounds to her brunette opponent, but she’s far from intimidated as this best of three submissions contest begins.  Indeed, the Quebec beauté immediately takes the fight to Kristiana, aggressively looking to dominate from the very start.  But the Italian bellezza is no novice, and she’s ready to give her rival all the fight she can handle.

Kristiana manages to take the first hard-fought fall with a grapevine that threatens to rend the agonized blonde’s hamstrings.  But Josianne is able to get her revenge and even the fight up when she forces the brunette to submit at the risk of having her arm broken!

By the third fall, these two grapplers are consumed by aggression and contempt as they battle it out.  One is seriously weakened by a series of illegal hammering blows to her back, and ultimately is driven to whimpering her surrender as she’s trapped in a unique standing figure four headlock/armbar combo that leaves her in anguished helplessness!  Once again, the Southern Belles Club brings you the best in mat action, featuring two of the sport’s most exciting women.  Don’t miss this one!
