Morton and Lynn coming home to Crossfire

Nashville’s own Crossfire Wrestling started two years ago to bring a tribute to the Fairgrounds.

When you talk about the history of the Tennessee State Fairgrounds, Nashville’s own Crossfire Wrestling has made a niche in history and now one of the biggest feuds in Nashville will come to a head with a tag team brawl.

Jerry Lynn and Kid Kash have had some of the best matches ever seen in Nashville at Crossfire Wrestling. But when the best of series finished, Kid Kash would face off against his own mentor, Ricky Morton. However, with Lynn doing the save on the tag team wrestling legend, Morton, Kid Kash would challenge him once more in Nashville.

That grudge match would turn into an all out war when UFC fighter Josh “War Hammer” Schockman would put his hands on Lynn during their match. Now a tag team feud will boil over when Kid Kash and War Hammer will tag up against Jerry Lynn and Ricky Morton.

In an interview with Crossfire, Morton stated that this is his homecoming.

“That is where I first laced my boots up and stepped into the ring,” Morton said. “And that took me on to be an eight time world tag team champion.”

Morton, whose legend started at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds, will bring all the knowledge of his rich tag team history into the match against Kash and Schockman.

“One thing I do know something about is tag team wrestling,” Morton continued, “because I have a good friend I am going to be tag teamed up with, and it’s going to be one of his last matches, right there in Nashville, Jerry Lynn.”
