Mr. Fuji, real name Harry Fujiwara, was born May 4, 1934, and died August 28, 2016 at his home in Clarkville, TN, after a long illness.  He was 82 years old, and had a long and storied career in pro wrestling.  Although he played a native Japanese character, he was a Japanese American, born in Hawaii.

He worked in various wrestling promotions, but was best known for his time in the WWWF and the WWF, where he started out as a tag team wrestler, and eventually became the sinister manager of numerous stars, including George Steele, The Magnificent Muraco, Bob Orton, The Moondogs, Kamala, Demolition, The Powers of Pain, The Berzerker, Crush, Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith, and Jeff Jarrett.
