Just Collecting or Do You Buy and Sell?
No matter if you are trying to find a nice deal for your collection or are looking to flip some cards, the Overnight Browser is a handy tool. The site shows all the cards (or anything sold on eBay) that are closing in the wee hours in North America. There are also a large variety of premade searches to explore, one of my personal favorites is the non-sport sketch card section. Often sellers will list their items very late and not realize the closing time will be late as well. Browse and apply some bids on any perceived deals up to a week in advance.

Or you can simply browse the next 200 cards ending soonest, buy it now style and other kinds of searches. With a nice dark theme the Overnight Browser pages are easy on the eyes. If you are like me and do a lot of phone browsing in the dark on sleepless nights the darker pages are a welcome touch. Visit the Trading Card Section and navigate to the style of card you are after, Disney cards are in the Non-Sport section.
Card Values
Using the Overnight tool is great but if you don’t know a cards value, how do you know its a good price? Well there are apps and sites around to help you but I prefer going right to the source. Head on over to eBay and type in the card name. Sometimes there are rare cards so use a similar player or style of card if yours is not showing much accurate results. On the left side of the page find and select the “Completed Items” box. Compare all the listings to get an idea of the current market value.

Finding a Market Value
A fair market value is what a card sold for over the last couple months. Keep in mind cards from recent products tend to sell for more in the first few weeks so factor that in on your decisions. Plenty of the people who buy and sell do take advantage of new product inflation. I think that some collectors just want to get their PC (personal collection) cards right away and don’t mind paying a little extra.
Be wary of some “Buy it Now” sales because eBay no longer reveals the items final price, assuming the seller accepted an offer. Generally I will guess the value to be about 60 to 75% of the listed price. Some people swear by COMC, which stands for Check out my Cards. It is a massive card selling community and many do base their values on the prices over there. You can visit the Official COMC site here.
Protect, Store or Display
Cards can be very expensive so at the very least you want to protect them with a soft sleeve also known as a penny sleeve and tucked safely away in a storage box. If you can actually find one for a penny that would be a great deal these days. Below I will link to some Amazon items and recommend some of my trusted brands like BCW and Ultrapro.
